Introduction to ISE

The department of Integrated Systems Engineering is the home of Industrial and Systems Engineering (BS, MS, PhD). The department is also the home of the Institute for Ergonomics and the Engineering Research Center for Net Shape Manufacturing.

Our educational programs are among the best in the nation! US News and World Report identifies our undergraduate and graduate programs in Industrial and Systems Engineering as #14 and #17 (out of more than 100 such programs) in the nation, respectively! With departmental research expenditures in excess of $6,000,000 per year, we provide a student-centered, research-prominent academic environment.

The department is comprised of 22 full-time faculty. The faculty, staff, and research personnel work to provide an educational environment that is both challenging and enriching. We're leading the way in meeting the educational needs for ISE's.
