ISE Undergraduate Program
The ISE program at OSU provides our students with a strong engineering foundation coupled with core ISE coursework in:
engineering economics, simulation, optimization, quality control, supply chain management and logistics, project management, manufacturing processes, workplace and facility design, ergonomics, lean engineering, systems thinking and cognitive systems engineering.

High Employment Rates: Students within the ISE program have exceptional employment opportunities. For the past 3 years, each year over 82% of our graduates have been hired for jobs within 3 months of graduation. The rich curriculum within ISE provides opportunities for a wide range of career paths placing the occupation of an “industrial engineer” in the top 10 of America’s happiest people in terms of job satisfaction, according to a University of Chicago study.

ISE Tracks: In addition to the core curriculum, students are asked to specialize in a track from one of the following four areas:
- Data Analytics and Optimization Track
- Supply Chain Management and Logistics Track
- Management Systems and Operations Research Track
- Manufacturing Track
- Human Systems Integration and Design Track
Additional Minors & Certifications: Students can also earn a minor or specialized certification. Below is a list of the most popular choices. These options fit nicely alongside the requirements for the core curriculum.
