College of Engineering Honors ISE Alumni at Annual Awards Celebration

Omar A. Sawaf (BS ’77, industrial and systems engineering) was honored with a Distinguished Alumni Award for outstanding professional achievement in engineering and architecture He is the chairman and CEO of Yellowstone Capital Partners, a boutique merchant bank and venture capital firm based in Houston, Texas. Previously, he was president of Capital Guidance Corporation.

Fifteen alumni from The Ohio State University College of Engineering and one community volunteer were honored during the 18th Annual Excellence in Engineering and Architecture Awards on October 9, 2014.

Since the 1950s, the College of Engineering has honored alumni for extraordinary personal achievements, outstanding contributions to the fields of engineering and architecture, and remarkable service to the college.
