ISE student, Talia Zaverdinos, placed in the top 3 for the 2019 Outstanding ISE Capstone Senior Design Project at the recent IISE Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. The award recognizes individual students or teams that have applied their ISE knowledge and skills to have a significant impact on an organization. A selection committee screened applicants down to the top 20. The top 20 were poster boarded and there was a showcase where a committee evaluated posters and interviewed students. The top 3 were selected and announced at the Council on Industrial and Systems Engineering (CISE) Leadership Mixer on Sunday night.

Talia graduated in May and earned her Green Belt certification based on her project at Abbott Nutrition.  She is headed to the University of Edinburgh for a Masters in Business Analytics.
