Criteria for Graduate Admission

  • Preference is given to graduates of accredited colleges and universities with undergraduate degrees in any engineering discipline, data analytics, computer science, mathematics, statistics or science with a GPA of 3.0 or greater.
  • GRE general test is NOT required for applicants, however the GRE is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for Operations Research, Data Analytics and Supply Chain applicants.
    • Average Quantitative score: 164 (88%)
  • Proof of English proficiency for international applicants.
    • TOEFL
      • 19 on each section of the paper-based TOEFL
      • 79 on the TOEFL iBT or TOEFL iBT Home Edition
      • 550 on the TOEFL ITP for students in the American Language Program
    • IELTS
      • 7.0 on the IELTS Academic test or IELTS Indicator (6.5 for Moritz College of Law applicants)
    • Duolingo
      • 120 or higher

Important Note: Admission decisions are competitive, and are based on an applicant’s overall application (GRE scores, personal statement and letters of recommendation) rather than specific minimum test scores. The average scores listed above provide an indication of what is required to be competitive. GRE Verbal scores are considered, but are not considered as critical as GRE Quantitative scores for international applicants.
